You may be offered the chance to deliver age-restricted items, such as alcohol. When delivering these items, you must always verify the customers’ age. 🤔 Is the customer of age? It’s against the law to hand over age-restricted items to anyone underage. Check the customer’s photo ID before you make the handoff. You will also need to enter the customer’s date of birth into the app. You’ll have two attempts to enter it correctly. As an independent contractor, you’re responsible for reporting all income taxes. Earnings received from your courier account are all gross payments and do not include any deductions for taxes or otherwise, unless otherwise stipulated by law. In 2025, your maximum total tax‐free earnings from all income sources is 13,308 Euro. Delivering with Lieferando means you’ll make money for each delivery. The courier app will send you delivery ‘offers,’ which you can decide to accept or reject.

You can order your Lieferando courier kit (jackets, backpacks and helmets) once you have started your courier sign up. We’ll send you your login details to our courier shop. There's no obligation to use Lieferando branded equipment. Feel free to use your own equipment, however, you must ensure that it meets our minimum safety requirements.

You can submit your availability every week in order to get scheduled runs. This is to help make sure we can keep you busy with a good amount of orders. We also offer “open runs”, where you can start delivering straight away.

Please only apply in the zone you wish to deliver in. If your preferred zone is closed, we’re not able to transfer your account.

As a welcome to the Lieferando network we'll add extra €2 to EVERY order that you successfully deliver up until 30.06. Join as an independent courier and boost your earnings. For every successful order delivered from 16.04.25 up to 30.06.25 €2 will be automatically added as an extra incentive.

Yes you can! If you deliver for Lieferando, you are your own boss. You can deliver for other companies, accept or decline orders and set your own hours. The flexibility is yours.
