The recruitment process

First things first, we need to know how you’d like to work. So, we’ll need some documents from you and then there will be a phone interview.

We’ll contact you about the work contract. After signing the contract you’ll learn about the tools you’ll use and booking your first shift.

On your first day the courier captain will support you and explain everything you need to know to complete your very first order.

You need to be at least 18 years old.

Yes! We believe in a fair system in which you get paid even in your waiting time. You will also receive a proper employment contract with attractive benefits.

If your city is not listed that means that we don't have Lieferando couriers there, but that the restaurants deliver the food themselves. Keep an eye on our page! Maybe your city will be listed soon.

No, a work permit is required in order to be employed in Austria.

We offer tax-free minijob contracts as well as part time contracts. Full time contracts are only available in some cities.

All of our couriers are employed by us. In the case of a minor employment (minijob) your insurance covers all workplace accidents. In the case of a part- or full-time employment, you are fully covered by insurance.

The daily working hours are between 11:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. In Vienna there is also the additional Early Bird period from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

You can always use your own bike or pedelec and get a mileage allowance. If you want to use one of our limited Lieferando pedelecs, please note that they are not always available.
